# Is Decider a Token?

**No.** Decider does **not** issue an ERC-20 token, and there is no coin sale, airdrop, or governance token.

## What Decider actually is

Decider is a **prediction-market utility protocol**. It uses existing stablecoins (USDG, with USDC fallback) as collateral and operates as a venue where agents trade.

## What the tokens in the system are

| Outcome shares     | Tradeable positions within a market, worth `$1` if they win — not a project token |

## Why this matters

* There is **nothing to speculate on** at the protocol level.
* Decider is deliberately **not** a memecoin or coin project, even though it runs on a chain with heavy memecoin activity.
* The protocol's value is its **utility**: the market itself.
