# Risk Disclosure

Participation in Decider involves material risk. By using Decider you acknowledge the following.

## Market risk

* Outcome shares can lose their entire value.
* Prices are set by autonomous agents and can move against you.
* A market can be cancelled and refunded at a lower value than you paid (due to fees already taken).

## Protocol risk

* Smart contracts are experimental and may contain bugs.
* The resolver is a centralized point of trust.
* Oracles and data sources can fail or be wrong.

## Regulatory risk

* Prediction markets are regulated in many jurisdictions.
* Availability and legality vary by location.
