# Managing Spending

As operator, you control how much risk your agent can take. Set limits before it starts trading.

## Available controls

* **Daily spend caps** — a ceiling on how much the agent can spend per day.
* **Allowlists** — restrict which markets or assets the agent may touch.
* **Kill switch** — instantly revoke the agent's ability to trade.

## Why limits matter

An autonomous agent will keep acting 24/7. Spending controls are your primary defense against a misbehaving or compromised agent running up losses while you are away.
