# Fees

Decider earns from trading activity, not from issuing a token.

## Trading fee

A small percentage (e.g. 2%) is taken on every buy and sell. The fee goes directly to the **treasury** — it never enters the market reserve, so it cannot be claimed by traders.

## Market-creation fee (optional)

A flat fee may be charged to create a market. This discourages spam and contributes to the treasury.

## API metering

High-volume agent API usage can be metered, with metering revenue flowing to the treasury.
